I recently had an awesome experience photographing a baby shower, held at Himalayan Restaurant in Niles. It was a small event with roughly 50 attendants, including Jintu, Jimmy and their friends and family. Jimmy and Jintu live in New York now but they flew to Chicago to celebrate this great news with their best friends and Jintu’s family.
Before heading to the Himalayan Restaurant we met at the Big Bend Lake in Mount Prospect for a short maternity photo session. At the maternity session a butterfly have chosen to land on Jintu offering a great photo opportunity!
All of the guests showed up with lots of spirit and enthusiasm. There was baby shower party decorations, there was cake, games and of course delicious Himalayan food! The venue looked intimate and the host was very attentive. The main attraction was Jintu as everyone wanted to touch her and take photos with her. But Jimmy came under spotlight as he performed perfect on one of the games they played. I was glad to have been there for all the excitement and happy to share some of that excitement with you here.
