This fall, I had the privilege of photographing the Vesa family during a Chicago Family Photo Session, a wonderful Chicago family I’ve worked with for over a decade. Our journey together began in 2012 when I captured Paula and Alex’s engagement photos, followed by their beautiful wedding a year later. Since then, we’ve made it an annual tradition to document their growing family, with sessions across the Chicago area, including Long Grove, Schaumburg, Crystal Lake, Dundee and Lake in the Hills.
This year, we returned to Algonquin for a Chicago Family Photo Session, a picturesque gem just outside Chicago, to capture their family photos by the Fox River. The fall scenery was nothing short of magical, with golden leaves blanketing the landscape and the tranquil river weaving its way through the background.
Lucian and Ariana, Paula and Alex’s two incredible children, brought their playful energy to the session, making every moment a delight to photograph.
