Newborn Studio Photos with Selena Jasmine in Chicago
Doo doo doo doooo! Introducing… SELENA JASMINE! We’re still flying high from one of the most wonderful shoots We’ve had in a while in the studio at baby’s house in Chicago. The adorable little lady in front of the lens is the daughter of Nicoleta and Adi and sister of Ariana. We did have a wonderful family session in Schaumburg last fall with Ariana!
Speaking of which, Adi and Nico were so much fun to get to know. We could have talked with them all day! We can tell they are going to be the best parents in the whole world! As for baby Jasmine, she was a little angel and slept peacefully through the majority of our two-hour session. I’m not gonna lie. When she showed up bright-eyed and giggly, we thought the session might have turned out a little tricky, but Nico was able to rock her to sleep and that knocked Yasmine out for the whole time.
Time for a little aww moment: “When I first saw my sweet little baby girl I felt an overwhelming mix of feelings: love, gratitude and joy that new life brings. It’s a unique, special moment hard to describe!!
As far as the baby preparation for the photoshoot, I bought all the props I found and liked on Amazon, I did a rehearsal by taking my own pictures to see which props look better and then I kept the ones I liked the most for the photoshoot.
Ariana is a great big sister, she’s more than you could ask for, so loving and protective of her little sister! We were warned by other parents she might get jealous and act up, but she raised above all our concerns…she is the sweetest “little” big sister! The first thing she does in the morning is to go to Selena’s room, ask mom to hold her and she showers her baby sister with gentle hugs and kisses. She also helps with little things like putting the dirty diaper in the Diaper Genie or patting the baby’s back so she can burp. She likes to take off her socks and play with her little toes. They are the cutest thing together! ”
