Streamwood High School Senior – Silvia
Today I want you to meet Silvia A Smart, kind and a bit shy are the words that come to mind when I think about this young woman.
Silvia is a senior at Streamwood High School. She was involved primarily in the Speech and Drama Team through her school, She also did track and field, Spanish Club, and she was in a few honors societies.
I really enjoyed working with Silvia. She was great on following directions and helped on poses. She was natural in front of the camera and the senior photo session was really inspiring for me.
I loved the outfits that Silvia brought to the shoot. For example, she brought 2 outfits plus the one she was wearing, and I think that was a good amount for good a variety of looks. She accessorized with different shoes to match each outfit and a head band… She didn’t want anything too flashy or distracting.
She would advise to pick out your outfits before hand and do whatever makes you feel like you look good. If that means doing your nails or a face mask, then go for it—if it means nothing at all, then that’s okay too!
I asked Silvia whether she had any advice to offer others who were getting ready to take senior pictures. This is what she had to share:
” I think that for hair and makeup you should wear whatever you think looks best on you, but remember that sparkles and gloss may not look the best on camera. As for hair, I kept mine down, but if you want to do an updo then go for it. I was only worried that the pictures wouldn’t come out nicely, but I’m sure they did!”
I asked Silvia what did she think about the location:” I think that the location was really nice and offered good varieties of backgrounds and textures to complement my outfits and style. ”
After high school, she will go to college and major in education!
Best of luck to Silvia. I know you’ll do wonderful thing and be very successful.
